We would like to
thank all of 2009's sponsors for their gracious support of the 2009 Louisiana
Region 5 Science and Engineering Fair. With their support, the
Region 5 Fair has continued to grow. We at Region 5 are now also able
to fund 3 projects, the maximum number permitted by the ISEF, for
International competition. There are more Elementary and
Junior High Schools that are now getting involved. There are more
businesses and organizations getting involved by sponsoring innovative
special awards. Now is not the time to let up. The ultimate goal
is to get as many school as possible involved in the science fair. The
graphic above is that of Jupiter's moon Europa. Scientists theorize
that it could possibly harbor life. There is no doubt, however, that
our sponsors have breathed new life into the Region 5 activities. And
for that, all students, teachers, parents, and fair volunteers say -
"Thank You!" If your organization or company would like become
a sponsor please contact the Director - day or night. Please
note: Sponsorship does not need to be in the form of monies. It
could be by way of supplying services or materials.
